Regular Sleeping Hood

The regular sleeping hood is a flat piece of head cover for the baby. This hood provides adequate support to hold your baby’s head when the baby falls asleep especially while being carried at the back. It is also useful to cover the baby’s head to shade against rain and shine, also external stimuli when the baby is carried in front.

This is the most basic type of hood. If you are personalising your carrier. All SNUGGbaby's hoods are interchangeable.

One side would be in a plain colour where usually parent opt to put some embroideries. The other side will be in printed fabric to match the carrier.

Cinchable Hood

The cinchable hood is sometimes also called 'adjustable hood'. It’s a long hood with side gathers. From feedback, this is the most comfortable type of hood to support the baby’s head if they fall asleep especially when being back-carried. This now comes as a standard with all our ready-to-wear Stork Carriers. The function is the same as the regular sleeping hood but because it has side gathers, it cups the baby’s head quite nicely if compared to the regular flat sleeping hood.

This hood is already included in a Stork Personalised package, this hood can be exchanged (upgraded) with other types of hood. All the hood types are interchangeable.

Hoodie Hood

RM44 on its own or RM4 to upgrade

The hoodie is a type of hood that looks like the hood on your favourite sweater. Although it covers the baby’s head well, it doesn’t hold it snugly if compared to the regular flat hood/meshed hood or cinchable hood. It is aesthetically really nice. Our Hoodie Hood has side gathers. This becomes a really good choice for parents who wants to add bear's ears or spikes along the midline. 

You can add this to your Stork for RM44.00 or if you are ordering a custom made Stork, this hood can be exchanged (upgraded) with your cinchable sleeping hood for an additional RM4.00. All the hood types are interchangeable.

SNUGG Meshed Hood

RM54 on its own or RM14 to upgrade

This type of hood has the same shape and functionality as a regular sleeping hood, but it is made with loosely weaving strands of fabric to match your Stork Carrier. The plus side of using this type of hood is airiness. The downside is it can be quite thick if made using other than the cotton drill and it doesn’t provide complete shade against the sun.

You can add this to your Stork for RM53.00 or if you are ordering a custom made Stork, this hood can be exchanged (upgraded) with your cinchable sleeping hood for an additional RM14.00. All the hood types are interchangeable.
